Why this journey

A landscape best understood on foot

Djebel Saghro gives this journey its focus: volcanic terrain, exposed plateaus and paths long used by Aït Atta communities. The approach from Marrakech crosses the High Atlas before the walking begins.

Several days are spent trekking between camps. Guesthouse stays bookend the walking section, with the return following the Draa Valley through Agdz.
