Booking Terms & Conditions

Clear expectations, from your first enquiry to your agreed journey.

Version: 2026-09-19

This page explains our booking process. The complete terms and contracting details for your trip will be provided with your written proposal before you commit.

Our role and your agreement

Morocco Travelogue plans private journeys and Marrakech experiences through a personal enquiry and written proposal process. Your proposal identifies the contracting provider, the services it arranges, any services supplied independently and the terms that apply. Check these details before accepting. Website descriptions are starting points for planning; your agreed documents define the services purchased.

From enquiry to confirmed booking

A form, chat, planning call or proposal is not a reservation. A booking becomes confirmed only when the confirmation requirements in your written proposal have been met and you receive written confirmation from the team. Those requirements may include accepting the itinerary and terms and making the specified payment. Do not treat a payment or chat message alone as confirmation of supplier availability.

Prices, currency and quotation validity

The website uses EUR for any published price guidance. Indicative or ‘from’ prices are not binding quotations. Your personalised written proposal states the final price, booking currency, inclusions, exclusions, applicable charges and quotation-validity period. Accommodation, route, season, transport, group size and special experiences can affect the price. Ask for clarification before accepting if any price basis or charge is unclear.

Deposits and final balance

The applicable deposit, balance deadline and accepted payment methods are specified in your written proposal or invoice before confirmation. No universal deposit percentage or payment deadline is set on this page. No payments are collected through the website or Tifawt. Use only the payment instructions provided with your agreed booking documents; never send card details through enquiry forms or chat.

Changes you request

Ask the team in writing if you would like to change dates, route, rooms or activities. Changes depend on availability and supplier conditions. Any revised arrangements, charges or refunds should be explained and agreed in writing before a change is accepted. A requested change is not effective merely because it has been submitted.

Changes in the travelling party

Tell us promptly if the number of travellers or room-sharing arrangements changes. A different party size can change the per-person price, transport and accommodation requirements. The team will explain the revised proposal and any relevant supplier charges before you decide how to proceed.

Cancellations by travellers

Notify the team in writing if you need to cancel. Trip-specific cancellation, refund and no-show conditions are provided in your written proposal or confirmation before you commit. There is no general cancellation schedule published here. Ask how supplier charges and any recoverable amounts apply to your particular arrangements. Applicable mandatory rights remain unaffected.

Operational, safety and supplier changes

Weather, route conditions, supplier availability or safety concerns may require changes. The team should explain a material change and discuss appropriate alternatives and any price or refund implications with you. No particular alternative or supplier is guaranteed before it has been agreed and confirmed. Your written terms and applicable law determine your rights if an acceptable solution is not available.

Extraordinary circumstances

Events outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters or official restrictions, may prevent agreed arrangements. The team and traveller should communicate promptly, consider reasonable alternatives and clarify costs or refunds under the agreed terms and applicable law. This does not remove any right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Independent suppliers

Accommodation providers, carriers, guides and activity operators may have their own service conditions. Relevant conditions and the role of each contracting party should be made clear in your booking documents. Using an independent supplier does not by itself remove any responsibility that applicable law places on the contracting provider.

Accommodation and room requests

Travel-style descriptions guide the level of comfort discussed during planning. They do not guarantee a particular hotel, camp, room category, view or facility. Specific properties, occupancy arrangements and any confirmed special requests are recorded in your proposal and confirmation. Tell us which requirements are essential before committing.

Passports, visas and travel documents

Check current entry, transit and passport requirements with the relevant official authorities for your nationality and circumstances. You are responsible for obtaining the documents required for your journey. General website or assistant information is not immigration advice or a guarantee of entry. Do not upload passport details to ordinary enquiry or chat fields.

Travel insurance

Consider suitable travel insurance for cancellation, medical costs, repatriation, baggage and the activities you intend to undertake. Check the cover, exclusions and assistance arrangements with your insurer. Any insurance requirement specific to your journey should be stated in your proposal; we do not assume that you are covered.

Health, accessibility and dietary requirements

Discuss mobility, accessibility, allergy or dietary requirements early enough for the team to assess practical arrangements with suppliers. An initial outline is usually sufficient; ask for an appropriate private channel before sharing sensitive health information. A request is not a guarantee that a supplier can meet it. Seek qualified medical advice about suitability and preparation where needed.

Safety and conduct during travel

Follow reasonable safety instructions, local laws and respectful guidance from your hosts and guides. Raise any concern about an activity before taking part. Behaviour that creates a serious risk to others may require an activity to stop or arrangements to change. Any consequences should be handled proportionately under the agreed terms and applicable law.

Activities purchased independently

Services you book separately are outside the agreed Morocco Travelogue itinerary unless expressly included in writing. Check the independent provider’s terms, safety information and insurance requirements. Tell the team about independent plans that could affect your agreed transfers or schedule.

If something is not right

Raise an operational problem with your guide or the team while you are in Morocco so there is an opportunity to address it. If it remains unresolved, explain the issue in writing through your agreed contact channel, with relevant details. Reporting promptly helps the team investigate; this guidance does not restrict your statutory rights.

Responsibility and applicable rights

Responsibility for a service depends on the agreed arrangements and applicable law. Nothing on this page excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional liability provisions must be supplied in the final booking documents and remain subject to mandatory law.

Photography and media

Joining a journey does not give Morocco Travelogue a general marketing licence to use your image. We will seek clear permission before using identifiable traveller photographs or recordings for promotional purposes. Respect the wishes of other travellers and local people before photographing them, and tell the team if you do not wish to be included.

Privacy and chosen communication channels

Information is used to understand your enquiry and arrange agreed services, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Email is the normal enquiry channel; WhatsApp may be used when available and chosen by you. Third-party communication and scheduling services have their own privacy terms. Do not send payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information through those channels.

Tifawt and website guidance

Tifawt is Morocco Travelogue’s travel assistant, not Abdel or a booking agent. Its information is a planning aid only. It does not create a contractual commitment, confirmed quotation, supplier confirmation, availability confirmation or booking. Verify practical and commercial details with the team in your written proposal. Any AI-assisted mode will be identified clearly when available.

Contracting details and applicable law

The contracting entity and applicable law and jurisdiction provisions must be identified in your final booking documents before you accept them. No specific court or legal entity is designated by this website guide. Any agreed provision remains subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.

Version and acceptance

Review the terms supplied with your final proposal before accepting or making a payment. The proposal explains how acceptance is recorded and which version applies. Submitting an enquiry, opening Tifawt or arranging an initial conversation does not accept a travel contract. Keep a copy of the proposal, applicable terms, invoice and written confirmation.
