The five variables that move your quotation
- Number of travel days and nights
- Group size and how many rooms are needed
- Vehicle type and total driving route
- Accommodation category and meal plan
- Private guides, special activities and season
Why group size changes the price per person
A private vehicle and driver are often a trip-level expense. When two people share it, the cost per person looks different from four travelers sharing the same vehicle, even if the itinerary is similar. Larger groups may require a different vehicle or additional services.
Room configurations matter too: a family needing two rooms may pay more than a couple using one room, regardless of the number of vehicle seats.
Accommodation changes more than the nightly rate
A medina riad, a modern hotel and a high-end kasbah can differ in service, access, room layouts and included meals. A desert camp may include dinner while a city stay includes breakfast only; compare the whole package, not isolated room labels.
Ask whether resort taxes, special dinners or room upgrades are included. Terms vary by property and season.
Transport: route design is a budget decision
A loop returning to its starting city may require additional kilometers and a final transfer day. Arriving in Casablanca and departing Marrakech can sometimes reduce backtracking; alternatively, return flights may make a loop worthwhile.
Ask whether fuel, parking, driver accommodation, intercity transport, airport transfers and late-night outings are included. A cheaper offer can be expensive if essential services are excluded.
Compare like for like
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the vehicle private for the full route? | Shared transfers are not the same product |
| Which hotels and room categories? | Labels such as boutique and luxury are not standardized |
| Which meals are included? | Desert dinners and city meals often differ |
| Are local guides and monument tickets included? | On-site expenses can be significant |
| What are the deposit and cancellation terms? | Commercial risk matters as well as total price |
What to send for an accurate proposal
Provide approximate dates, number of travelers, room preferences, arrival and departure airports, places you consider essential and accommodation expectations. State whether you want a fast-paced highlights circuit or more time in fewer places.
Instead of choosing the lowest headline amount, compare what each operator actually delivers and how clearly they explain the limits of the itinerary.
Frequently asked questions
Are private Morocco tours always expensive?
Not necessarily. Costs depend on the route, travelers, vehicle, accommodation and included services. Private travel may provide better value for a group sharing transport.
Is a desert camp usually included in the tour price?
It depends on the proposal. Request a named camp category and written confirmation of meals and transfers.
Can I get a quote without choosing an itinerary?
Yes. Share your travel dates, interests, group size and budget preferences to begin a custom proposal.
